CUSTOM POWER
Whatever your application, CLINTON can build and design your custom power application. If your requirements are for special enclosures, multiple outputs, special cooling or custom communication, we can meet your goals. Special designs for emerging technologies have been the outgrowth of direct communications between Clinton's engineering department and the users of specialty DC power. Read below to find out about just a few industry applications of our power products.

Plating Power
Clinton high current low voltage power supplies are the work horse of the plating industry. More than 50 years of manufacturing experience goes into each Clinton rectifier. Applications for zinc, nickel, brass, copper and cadmium plating use our high efficiency type HOS manual control rectifiers. These units can be used in both rack and barrel plating.

Anodizing Power
High voltage HOS and SC-VC power rectifiers are used for hard coat and color anodizing. Voltage ranges from 0 to 150 volts DC. Automatic ramp control, process timers and fully integrated PLC controls are options on Clinton SC-VC solid state controlled rectifiers.

Electro-Painting Power
Rectifiers with SCR solid state automatic current control and automatic voltage control, and DC voltages up to 300v are used in electrified continuous dip painting lines. Higher voltages 600v-1000v are used in high volume electro-spray applications.

Electro-Forming Power
Clinton's propriety PLC operated rectifier control system can be designed to work with any of our SCR controlled SC-VC rectifiers to provide intricate staging and slope control as well as complete reporting for even the most elaborate requirements. Multi stage and multi day programming can be custom config ured with our easy to operate touch screen control panel.

Hard Chrome Plating Power
Both tap switch control and sold state SCR control rectifiers are suitable for hard chrome plating. Spe cially designed ripple filters can be matched to customer applications for increased quality and performance.
